About Our Logo
The Colors Signify…
Worship: We are dedicated to worship Christ in all that we do. The white reminds us of the holiness and perfection of our God, who is light (1 John 1:5). This is also reflected in the symbol of the cross
Grow: We are called to grow in the likeness of Christ in our whole being. The green reminds us that the Lord makes His people like trees planted by streams (Psalm 1) to grow in the truth of the Gospel. This is also reflected in the symbol of the growing flower.
Serve: We are called to sacrificial service in our congregation and community because God loves us so in Christ. The blue reminds us that we have living water (John 4) to offer all who are in need. This is also reflected in the symbol of the ICTHUS fish.
Together: All these are contained within overlapping circles to remind us that the Lord calls us to Worship, Grow, and Serve together in Christ (Ephesians 2:18-22).
The Symbols Point to…
People: All people were created to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. The ICTHUS fish (history) reminds us that the Lord calls His Church to be fishers of men (Matthew 4:19). This is also reflected in the color blue, as the sea of the world is full of people for God to call.
Truth: The Good News of Jesus is the power of God for the salvation of people. The cross reminds us that all our faith, hope, and love is to rest in the person and work of Christ alone (Philippians 2:5-11). This is also reflected in the color white, as we are cleansed from our sins through the grace of Jesus.
Community: The Church is central to God’s work of redemption in this world. The growing flower in the center of the logo reminds us that the Lord is working in His Church to reveal the beauty of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:14-16). This is also reflected in the color green, as the Church is the Lord’s vineyard, made to grow and bless the world.
Evangelism and Discipleship: All these are contained within a stained-glass window, through which we see and are seen, to remind us that we are to see everything in light of Christ and be His light to the world (John 8:12).
